Parents and players please make checks out to the Oakville
Tigers Baseball Club
.  We would like to have all payments
as soon as possible. Please give the cash or checks to Mr.
Terry.  Mr. Terry is also working hard to get trips sponsored,
and those costs reduced as well.  If any parents know any
businesses or individuals that would like to participate in our
Diamond Club, please feel free to pass along the
information.  Please contact Mr. Terry or Coach Aboussie
with any questions or concerns.

The Oakville Tigers Baseball Club realizes that the cost of
playing summer baseball is expensive. We have developed a
price NOT including trips that we believe is affordable for
families and players,
$200/player  (It originally was
$280/player).  The dollar amount is calculated by adding the
cost of umpires, baseballs, tournament entry fees, field
maintenance supplies, and coach's salary then divided by the
generic number of 15 players.  We could keep as many as
18 players, thus lowering the cost.  As of April 5th, we have
scheduled 34 games and could possibly schedule 2 to 4
more.  We believe that
$200 is a reasonable figure, yet the
player's baseball experience will not be sacrificed because
of the lower cost.


We are also exploring other means to lower the cost for the
players and families.  One example is we have created a
Dugout Club, where businesses have the opportunity to
donate money to the program, which would in turn lower the
playing cost or trip expenses.  This has already proven to
lower the playing cost with the hard work of Mr. Terry, and
the generous donations of several St. Louis area businesses.
